During the guided tour to the vineyards, while they contemplate the almost ripe grapes it is quite common to hear the guests exclaim "How would I like to try harvesting!".
No sooner said than done: Montonale's hospitality team has organized Saturday, September 28th a full immersion in the wonderful world of manual harvesting.
At 10am we will start from the wine-shop for the delivery of gloves, scissors and boxes.
Guided by the agronomist Valentino Girelli we will go into the vineyard, where every visitor will be able to fill his own box with Turbiana bunches destined for Lugana Montunal.
With their precious cargo, the guests will reach the squeezing area: here the winemaker Roberto Girelli will direct them to the conveyor belt that lets the grapes fall into the press. Next, all to the cellar to taste the sweetest musts.
It will be high time for lunch , where the dishes of the territory will meet bottled Montonale wines, to end with taste a day full of emotion.
The event is by reservation only, available places are limited.
